The recruitment campaign for teaching assistants for the 2025 school year is open.
Below you will find the calendar of the recruitment campaign, as well as the documents necessary to submit your application.
This recruitment campaign is exclusively for employees of the French Ministry of National Education.
The EFIR comprises twenty-two positions of teachers seconded from AEFE and five positions under the expatriate statusExpatriate staff, including members of the management team and teachers assigned to pedagogical advisory roles, are recruited directly by the AEFE. The recruitment campaign begins each year at the very start of the academic year, with the publication of vacancies. For more information, please visit the AEFE website.
The first phase of recruitment is conducted within the school, in close collaboration with the diplomatic mission. Applications are then reviewed by the local Joint Advisory Committee, whose opinion is forwarded to the Director of the AEFE, who makes the final decision. Successful candidates submit a request for a three-year secondment and sign a contract with the AEFE.
As part of its missions, the AEFE pays particular attention to promoting equality between girls and boys as well as between women and men, and ensures professional equality within its network.
